The laundry room is often an overlooked room in a home. However, it can be a space full of potential with several ways to be transformed into a room with both functionality and style! In my laundry room, I have chosen to label baskets and bins. Since they are in a convenient and open location, it helps my family and I remember where specific items are and also allows for easy access to the items.

Let's explore some ideas for specific laundry room items to help organize and decorate:

1) Personalized Labels: The personalized labels I purchased are from Amazon, and I highly recommend them. They are metal labels with click on holders and come with 70 different household options for personalizing your baskets or bins. You can also embrace your creativity by making your own charming labels with handwritten or printed tags.

2) Laundry Supply Storage: In our laundry room, we purchased laundry pedestals for our washer and drawer to be placed on. The biggest benefit of the pedestals are the storage drawers to keep your laundry supplies in. If these are not a good option for you, placing your laundry supplies in a bin or basket with a personalized label on the front helps keep the items in one safe "put together" location.

3) Lost and Found Bin: A bin designated for "lost and found" minimizes clutter and keeps all items found in pockets, items dropped in the laundry or stray socks in one place in hopes that it will be "found" later.

4) Wall-Mounted Storage: Optimize the space in your laundry room with wall-mounted shelves, coat hooks or hanging organizers for stylish vertical/horizontal storage and easy accessibility.
