Crochet -Fashion Finds-

Crochet fashion has a defining look and a retro-throwback! It has seen a resurgence in women's fashion and is trending right now. The timeless appeal and versatility of crochet fashion is truly amazing and can help you embrace the laid-back vibe of summer!

Here are some styling tips for crochet fashion perfection:

1) Statement Piece- Choose one crochet piece to be the focal point of your outfit. Examples could be crochet in an oversized sweater, loose-fitting cardigan, flowy dress, comfortable skirt, lightweight top or pants/shorts with crochet details.

2) Pattern & Color Choice- Granny squares, floral motifs and chevrons are commonly used vintage patterns for crochet fashion. Rich hues like red and orange can add vibrant accents to your crochet pieces or you can choose earth tones like brown or beiges like I did in the outfits shown below.

3) Embellishment & Details Matter- To add visual interest, choose crochet items with embellishment and/or playful details. Examples could be fringe, tassels, lace or beads.

4) Mix Eras- For a unique look, combine crochet pieces inspired by different decades. For example, wear lace from the 1920's with granny squares from the 1970's. Vintage jewelry like a brooch and crochet headbands can be paired with crochet outfits also.
